Memorial Garden
Next Step’s Memorial Garden is dedicated as a place to honor and remember children no longer with us due to ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, SIDS, and early infant death. It is a place of beauty and rest where anyone can visit to mourn, pray, remember, celebrate, and heal.
The Memorial Garden is open to the public year-round through the 3rd Street gate (next to the driveway) at 902 D Avenue in La Grande.
Ordering a Remembrance Plate
If you would like to order a Remembrance Plate for a child, you can fill out the order form online (below) or print it off and mail it to us at 902 D Avenue, La Grande OR 97850. The cost is $15.00 per Remembrance Plate. This covers the cost of the materials and installation. If you are unable to pay, please contact our office for information about our scholarships.
Remembrance Plates are made of DuraBlack, a laser markable aluminum suitable for harsh environments. The plate will be black with white lettering and graphics. The plate is 2 x 4 inches with round edges and will be attached to one of the Memorial Garden panels. You can choose up to three lines of printing with a maximum of 30 characters (including spaces) per line.

Paying for your Remembrance Plate
Remembrance plates may be ordered in one of three ways, and will not be submitted for production until payment has been received.
